The School of Law

As one of the largest UK law schools we offer students an 

internationally renowned academic environment in which to study, develop and research. Our long standing commitment to teaching and research excellence is reflected in Queen Mary consistently being ranked in the top 10 UK Law Schools.

In the Guardian's University 2011 Guide we are ranked third overall in the UK and first in London for law. The Times Good University Guide2011 ranks us sixth overall in the UK and third in London for law.

The 2008 Research Assessment Exercise ranks us seventh in England and third in London, based on the percentage of our staff rated 3* & 4* for research of national and international importance.

In the National Student Survey (NSS) 2010, the School of Law scored 94 per cent for student satisfaction, giving us equal highest score amongst the University of London colleges.
