LLB Law, Senior Status (M101)
The Government has introduced a new policy to withdraw public funding for home and European Union students who are aiming for a qualification which is equivalent to, or at a lower level than, a qualification which they already hold. HEFCE’s announcement about ELQs, and a letter from the Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills, can be found on www.hefce.ac.uk
Queen Mary, University of London welcomes students who wish to embark on equivalent or lower level qualifications (ELQs). Since we will no longer receive HEFCE funding for these students, however, we will be charging a higher level of fee. This affects ELQ students studying both undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes. These fees will be £6,150 per year.
